Biel is a child born with low vision. As he grew older, his parents became aware of the difficulties he faced daily. Seeing that his eyes did not adapt to the world, they decided to adapt the world to his eyes. This is how Biel Glasses was born, a company that is developing and will sell smart glasses to improve the mobility and autonomy of people like Biel.

Biel is a child who has a low vision (LV). LV is more common than blindness and cannot be corrected with regular glasses or surgery. Patient surveys show that the most disabling effects are the ones that hamper mobility. We develop smart glasses to improve the mobility and personal autonomy of people with LV. The glasses use 3D vision and AI algorithms to detect obstacles, and MR (augmented + virtual reality) to show them in a way the patients can perceive with their remaining vision. They include other features like zoom and image improvement, providing a complete solution for people with LV.
