XTEND – the developer of XOS, a human-guided autonomous operating system that is revolutionizing ‘human to machine’ interaction, has acquired Performance Rotors, the Singapore-based leading drone inspection specialists, in a move that will boost XTEND’s ability to offer human-guided, remote interactive operations in a range of inspection scenarios, and grow its global business. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The main gap is that autonomous technologies are mostly limited to simple repetitive tasks. XTEND’s Operating System (XOS) changes that by introducing AI-driven robotics that are remotely supervised by human professionals, allowing making key decisions yet leaving the majority of the work to autonomous robots, with an emphasis of putting professionals out of harm’s way.
The XOS enables performing precision tasks, in any environment with minimal training. XOS fuses human decision making capabilities and AI-based machine autonomy to perform complex missions from remote. XTEND’s systems are already operationally deployed worldwide, as we continue to extend XOS operational capabilities to deliver the future of human-machine teaming to security and enterprise professionals worldwide.
